What’s New with Kids and Families in May and June?

The final KidsOnMission event for this school year is 5/8. Wednesday events for kids will be back on 8/14! But Elevate (the MS/HS youth group) will continue on Wednesdays all summer. And, of course, we will still have our regular Sunday morning events throughout the summer too… other than a few unique dates. 

The first of which is actually this Sunday—Mother’s Day—5/12. On this date, the Kids Choir is singing. And there will be no elementary-age Sunday School classes at 9am because so many kids are in choir, but there will be preK and nursery. And we will have all regular events during the Gathering (nursery, preK, elementary). The choir will meet at 9am. 

We have a special 5th grader + parent event on 5/15… and if you are a 5th-grade family, you have received info about that :) 

On 5/19, a new chapter will begin in the Gospel-Minded Moms & Dads class on Sundays at 9am in Room 208. We’ll be working through several weeks on Habits of the Household, and we’d love for you to come. 

PowerUpClubs are from June 17-20 and PowerSurge is on 6/20. It is going to be an amazing week.

Lastly, if you are interested in serving with kids for the first time or in a new way, please let me know! It is fun and meaningful to be a part of the team, and we are always looking for adults to partner with parents and point kids to Christ.
