GATHERING: Q'S for next Sunday February 22
Message: That Day: the Bema Seat (Will Rutt)
Text: I Corinthians 3:9-17
Context: The quality of our discipleship will be revealed in the "bema" or believer's judgment. In this passage, Paul covers foundation, materials, inspection and warning.
Relatable: Have you ever hastily done something - an assignment or project - and later (when tested) regretted it? Or the opposite - taken good time to confirm the foundation - which made everything go better later? Tell that story...
Text: Read I Corinthians 3:9-17. Don't rush. What stands out?
V9: Paul sets up the analogy to come - what is the main point here?
V10-11: How did Paul "lay a foundation"? Who else is building?
V12-15: Summarize Paul's warning in your own words. What does he say is the cost of careless building? What might that look like in real life?
V16-17: What is the warning Paul gives to careless builders?
Growth: What is a key application you take from this passage / message?

EQUIPPING REVIEW: Last Sunday Feb 15, at 9AM (Godly Fellowship Class):
GROUPING - How to meet in groups that produce connection & strength not isolation & harm
Great Life (or any) group meetings are a learned skill, and not automatic
Key point: We come to groups to GIVE first, and GET second. If we all came with the gospel attitude to love others sacrificially, we would both give and receive love
Best practices:
