NOSTALGIC CHRISTMAS PLAYLIST (The Gospel Coalition)
Advent is the lead-up season to Christmas when we are both looking back in celebration and forward in anticipation. We look back to celebrate the first advent of Christ, who came as a suffering Savior. We look forward to the second Advent, when Christ will come as a reigning King. It is a season of delights - lights and music and food and of course gifts to remind us of the greatest gift of God with us - Immanuel.
Even so - many struggle with losses and hurts, that feel even heavier through Advent. And though Christ’s birth was joyful, he would come to be known as a man of sorrows. So whether you come with a light heart looking for delight, or a heavy heart looking for support, here are a few resources to fuel your hope this Advent Season.

For families with younger children, we really enjoyed The Advent Book – daily readings with "pop up" windows to see what's happening in the Christmas story.
