Go camping with Sandhurst at Myrtle Beach State Park!

Arrive on Friday anytime after 2 PM and get set up – dinner is served at 6:30. Campfire stories both nights. Casual beach games on Saturday afternoon. Chapel Sunday morning with Will Rutt. Camping under the oaks with the sound of the surf to sleep to. Come on out!

Where is it?

Myrtle Beach State Park overflow campsites. Each site has a firepit (we provide the firewood), and drinking water taps nearby. Central bath house with toilets and showers.

What About Food?

3 Meals provided by the Men’s Ministry leaders (a selling point if you know them!): Friday and Saturday evening dinner + Sunday morning breakfast. Bring your own breakfast & lunch for Saturday + snacks.

Can I Bring a Camper?

Yes – BUT not to park at our location. Camper sites are in another location of the park, and reservations should be made individually by calling 843.238.5325. If you aren’t staying in Myrtle Beach State Park, you may need to pay for park entry.

What's the Cost?

$65 per campsite for onsite tent camping: This includes site, parking and 3 meals for the family unit.

$10 meal only per person (max $40 per family): cost for anyone who is NOT staying in the “Overflow” tent-camping area, but would like to join us for meals.

What if my child wants to go but our family is not?

There is no “general” youth camping or official supervision, but feel free to send your child with another responsible host family.

What's the timing?

Arrive anytime on Friday after 2:00 pm, dinner at 6:30 pm. Breakfast and Chapel on Sunday will wrap up in time for people to leave around 10, and arrive back home or at Sandhurst to meet people coming out of the service.
