Bo Myers has served in many areas at Sandhurst over the years. Bo received his MA in Christian Ministry and Discipleship in 2016 from Liberty University Theological Seminary and was ordained by the Pastors and Elders of Sandhurst in 2017. He's been an encouragement to our men and began serving as our Men's Ministry Pastor in 2022. Because of Bo's love for God's mission to the world, he also serves as our Missions Outreach Pastor.

Bo served the Florence community for 20 years as a police officer and crime scene investigator and as a deputy coroner for our county. God used his career to allow Bo to minister to countless families and other first responders he encountered over his many years of public service. His ministry to the underserved community in the Florence area takes place through Junebugs Care Community Outreach Ministry and Whosoever Community Outreach, where Bo is a volunteer Teaching Pastor.

 

Bo grew up in Murrells Inlet where he met the love of his life at age 15. He married Leslie five years later in 1995. They have attended Sandhurst since 2005 where they have raised their two beautiful daughters and been a very active family within the fellowship. Bo enjoys family time by camping and traveling. You will often find him behind a grill preparing food for the masses.
